4 Reasons Why It Is Never too Early to Plan Your Next Ocoee River Rafting Trip

We understand that rafting season comes and goes before you can blink your eyes. Even if you were not able to make the trip to see us this season, that gives you even more incentive to go rafting next year. Plus, there is no time better than the present to plan your next vacation. Here are 4 reasons why it is never too early to plan your next Ocoee River rafting trip:

1. Schedule Coordination

calendarIf you are planning a group rafting trip, it can be nearly impossible to find a day when everyone is free. The earlier you begin planning your trip, the more likely it is to be able to find a day that works for everyone. As much as you try to plan something to do with a group, it becomes much more realistic once you set a date. Even if you are only making it a small family trip, you will still be relieved to have a day planned to mark on the calendar. With this year’s rafting season coming to an end, the best thing to do is plan your Ocoee River rafting trip for next year!

2. Get the Date You Want

Once you are able to decide on a good date for your group, you will want to book your trip as soon as possible to ensure that there are available trips. We highly recommend making reservations, especially for those with large groups and for people who want to raft on the weekends. Because those dates fill up fast, you will want to schedule those as soon as possible. When you call to make your reservation, all we need to know is the number of people in your party, which trip you would like to take, and the date you want to raft. There is a deposit required to book your reservation, but it is the best way to reserve your spot!

3. Head Start on Lodging

Quest Expeditions LodgingNot only does planning ahead give you the advantage of picking the best dates to go rafting, you can also beat everyone to the punch on lodging. When you decide to raft with us, we provide a couple of different options on places to stay to make the most out of your vacation. With our group bunkhouses, we can provide lodging for up to 76 people. Each of our large bunkhouses accommodate up to 30 guests, while the smaller one can hold up to 16 people. No matter the size of your group, we recommend booking your lodging as soon as possible!

4. Don’t Worry about Cancellations

If you are worried about planning too far ahead in fear that something could pop up in your life, you can always cancel your trip. For groups of 8 or more, as long as you cancel your trip 3 weeks prior to your rafting date, your deposit will be refunded. If you have a trip reserved for a party of less than 8, you can cancel your trip 10 days prior to your trip date without penalty. We understand that things happen in life that you don’t plan for. That is why we encourage people to plan their next adventure as soon as possible, but also have a cancellation policy in place for special circumstances.

While we understand it is always sad to see the rafting season come to an end, it gives you the chance to plan ahead to next year. Now that you know why it is never too early to plan your next Ocoee River rafting adventure, be sure to find the perfect trip for your group and book now!
