Experiences on the Full River Trip
You’re probably wondering what the whitewater rafting experience on this trip is like. You will experience the Middle River portion, the Upper River portion, and the Olympic Whitewater Competition Course.
Our Full River Trip starts out with 4 miles of great whitewater rafting on the Upper River. Then, you’ll get to go through the Olympic Whitewater Competition Course. This part of the river was used in the 1996 Olympics, and it is more narrow than the rest of the river. You’ll even get to experience the largest rapid, Humongous, on this part of the trip.
After this section, you will get to experience the nation’s most popular whitewater rafting on our Middle River trip. There are 5 miles of class 3 and 4 rapids along this portion of the trail. After you go through this, you will get to stop and swim at the doldrums.
What Else Happens on the Trip
In addition to enjoying our Ocoee river rafting, you will get to break for lunch. At the end of the Upper River section, you will paddle to the edge of the river and get out. Everyone in the raft will receive a picnic lunch that includes sandwiches, chips, cookies, fruit, sweet tea, and lemonade. Once everyone finishes their lunch, you’ll head back to the raft and finish the rest of your trip!
Availability of Full River Trips
Full River trips are available on certain Saturdays and Sundays during May and every Saturday and Sunday in June, July, August, and September. You can schedule one of these trips as individuals or in groups of 8 or more.
